Three pure triacylglycerols (TAG) containing decenoic acid (D), and stearic acid (S), were hydroxylated into chlorinated and non-chlorinated polyols and studied in detail. D is a fatty moiety that can result from the cross metathesis of small olefins with common vegetable oils such as soybean oil. A fundamental understanding relating chemical composition and derived structure, particularly the number and position of the hydroxyl groups, to physical properties was established allowing us to add some perspective to the growing body of knowledge on industrially relevant polyol and polyurethane systems produced with metathesis-modified TAG (MTAG). The hydroxyl value, crystallization and melting behaviors, thermal degradation behavior of the polyols were directly related to their peculiar shortened and primary functionality inherited from the parent MTAG. The effect of regiochemistry on the physical properties of the polyols was investigated with the chromatography fractions of the trichlorinated polyol of propane-1,2,3-triyl tris(dec-9-enoate), giving an unhindered insight into the role of short and terminal functionality of MTAG polyols that will help select the optimal isomer composition for designer polyurethane materials. 相似文献

The spinning motion of a ballistic missile (BM), which is a kind of micro-Doppler motion, induces additional frequency modulation on the returned radar signal. This modulation period in frequency, called the micro-Doppler modulation frequency, is a stable and unique parameter in radar target recognition. This paper first establishes the radar signal model of the spinning missile during flight, and then extracts the micro-Doppler modulation frequency through analysis of the periodic structure of the resulting spectrogram (short-time Fourier transform (STFT)) - i.e., the time-frequency distribution (TFD). In order to be used for BM target recognition we implemented a data-dependent optimal window length for the STFT. We treated the resultant TFD as an image and then used the 2-D DFT/FFT for feature extraction. Experimental results illustrate the validity of the proposed method. 相似文献

This study attempts to explore the impact of Industrial Production Index to sector performance of Beverage, Food and Tobacco in Colombo Stock Exchange Sri Lanka. Secondary data were used for the analysis. Sector index was taken from the Data Library of Colombo Stock Exchange and Industrial Production Index was taken from Annual Reports of Central Bank Sri Lanka. Monthly data were gathered from January 2002 to December 2014. For the time series data set, first, the stationary was checked using Augmented Dickey-Fuller and Phillips Perron Tests of E-views software. The results of stationary check show that the sector index is stationary at 1st difference in both ADF and PP tests. Industrial Production Index is stationary at 2nd difference in ADF test but 1st difference is stationary in PP test. Because of the seasonal trend in IPI 12th difference also considered and it is stationary in both ADF and PP tests. Granger Causality test was used to find out the causal relationship between variables. Results show the one way causality that the changes occurring in IPI will have an effect on changes in sector index. But changes in sector index will not have any effect on changes in IPI. Finally a regression was used to find out the relationship between variables. A Pearson Correlation coefficient was checked to find the correlation among variables before moving to the regression. Result of correlation test shows 84% higher correlation between variables and regression result shows a significant positive relationship amongvariables. The study concludes that Industrial Production Index will positively impact on Beverage, Food and Tobacco sector Index in Sri Lanka. It can be recommended that the changes occurring in the IPI be considered by Investors when they buy and sell stocks in BFT sector. 相似文献

In order to set integrated procedures involving geotechnical and structural aspects finalized to buildings diagnostics, uncertainty aspects are discussed concerning three-axis accelerometers and inclinometers for a distributed sensor network. This network allows to operate in a selective manner, preferring the most critical situations. To this aim, the main aspects affecting the measurement uncertainty of sensors to be used for building diagnostic should be known. As the firstly step of the uncertainty evaluation procedure, we focused on the calibration of sensors used for the task. The requirement of low cost and complexity of sensors and test benches was considered. Experimental results show that satisfactory calibration accuracy could be achieved, also for the low frequency range, 0–10 Hz. Systematic errors are minimized and main parameters affecting uncertainty are identified, such as: the motion positioning of the accelerometer with respect to the vertical axis, the imposed motion law, the parameter used as the reference and, finally, the real radial positioning of the sensor. In this paper, a complex nonlinear autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (CNARCH) model is proposed to model sea clutter. For heteroscedastic model, since the likelihood function is not obtained from explicit probability density function (PDF) expression, it is typically referred to as a quasi-likelihood function. The corresponding quasi-maximum likelihood estimation (QMLE) of the model parameters is derived. Furthermore, the corresponding detection algorithm is derived based on this model. We also conduct the simulations of both synthetic and practical data, demonstrate that the proposed model offers higher accuracy in detection, than the linear ARCH model, when used in the sea clutter. 相似文献

The sensitivity of heavy road vehicle aerodynamic coefficients to different testing parameters (scenario, vehicle type and turbulence intensity) is experimentally evaluated in this paper through wind tunnel experiments. The first part of the paper has investigated the aerodynamic loads (both stationary and non-stationary) acting on a high-sided lorry (VAN) in a flat ground scenario. The mean aerodynamic coefficients, the flow pattern around the vehicle and the aerodynamic admittance function have been assessed and compared for different wind turbulence conditions (boundary layer simulations). The present paper instead investigates the influence of the infrastructure scenario (flat ground, embankment, single and double viaduct), of the exposition (upwind or downwind) and of a trailed unit on the aerodynamic loads acting on the vehicle. Moreover, the mean aerodynamic coefficients and the aerodynamic admittance function of the high-sided lorry considered in the first part are compared with the ones of other heavy vehicles (tank truck, tractor-semitrailer combination and tractor-trailer combination) to assess the influence of the vehicle geometry. 相似文献
